Calvin Dontez Ross (born 2 October 1992), known better by his stage name Calvin Ross, is an American R&B artist and producer originally from Tennessee and now based in Atlanta, United States. He is commonly known for collaborating with producer ChrizBeatz,[1] as well as with various artists including Gangsta Blac, Avant, Urban Mystic, Bando Jonez and 2c’s.[2][3] He is the recipient of the Bobby Womack R&B Artist of the Year award at the 11th Annual 2019 SCM Awards.[4]

Early life

Calvin Ross grew up in Tennessee in the 1990s and started producing music at the young age of 17. He was musically inspired by popular artists such as Michael Jackson, Usher, Ginuwine, and R. Kelly.[5]
