| Advanced Languages
|
- Complete coursework up to a 200 level in a foreign language.
- Complete one advanced math course.
|
| Curriculum
|
- Complete an honors writing, philosophy, or English class.
- Complete 22 hours of honors credit.
- No more than 4 credit hours from religion courses counts
towards the required 22.
|
| Grade Point Average
|
- Graduate with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
|
| Great Works
|
- Have 12 experiences (reading,viewing, ect.) for each of
the following categories: Literature, Art, Film, Music, Theater,
and Science and Technology.
- Write a two page response for two experiences from
each category.
- Keep a detailed log of all experiences.

| Portfolio
|
- Compile a portfolio containing best work throughout
the students time at BYU, including:
- A summary for every semester attended.
- A transcript reporting a GPA of 3.5 or better.
- Three faculty references.
- Log documenting completion of the great works requirement.

| Service
|
- Open ended.
- Can be fulfilled by one large project or smaller
projects over time.
|
| Thesis
|
- Includes thesis defense.
- While not as strenuous as a graduate thesis,
contains many of the same elements.
