Namibia's Drag Racing

edit

Once a year, Speed and Sound travels from South Africa to compete against Namibia's best drag racers at the Okahandja airstrip. In Windhoek, the Tony Rust Racing Strip is used for all racing events including oval driving and drag racing.

Namibian drags are normally held in Windhoek, Okahandja, Rehoboth, Namibia and Walvis Bay. In order to participate in drag racers, you need a valid license, if not you will be fined. [1]

There is a new event launched for all the spin and burnout freaks known as the King of Spin . This event usually takes place at SBS Trucking [2]. The final spinning show to be held in Windhoek for the year 2012. Tire burning, stunts and precision driving will show the level of driver skill as well as entertain the crowds.
