This is a page to keep track of removed video game character articles (those that have been successfully deleted, merged, or redirected and remain as such).

Only include articles that have at least somewhat reasonable sourcing. Do not include any articles that have no sourcing or very minor sourcing.

Also, only include articles from the recent past, primarily articles from 2017 or later. Note that this is not a comprehensive list, as there have been so many discussions for removing articles that many are easily missed. If there are discussions you know of that are not contained in this list, feel free to add them.

When linking deletion or merge discussions, link the one that actually removed the article from mainspace.

There was an AFD on the article back in 2021 that was withdrawn, which caused the article to have "a huge slow-burn edit war" over the article's status, which lead to several BLARs and reverts.

Amy Rose	Sonic the Hedgehog	Talk page merger	17 February, 2019	A previous GA, Amy was previously kept during the initial notability discussions for Sonic the Hedgehog characters. Despite being considered a known character by editors, a predominant majority elected to merge the article, with no prejudice against recreation if more sources were to be discovered. A split attempt was proposed back in 2022, but was decided that it was unlikely to meet the notability threshold and relied too much on primary and unsuitable sources.
