The person who ask this question said that the correct answer to this question is "9", "1" is an incorrect answer. However, Mathematician don't have a consistent answer, and this question has created a controversy.[5] On Facebook, 3.42 million responded, 1.49 million answered "9" and 1.93 million answered "1".
