Tiger[1] is a 2007 Indian Bengali language political action thriller film co-written and directed by Swapan Saha. Produced by Nispal Singh under the banner of Surinder Films, the film stars Mithun Chakraborty in the titular role, with Debashree Roy[2] and Rajatava Dutta in leads, while Dulal Lahiri, George Baker, Sumit Ganguly, Bharat Kaul, Sudip Mukherjee, Shyamal Dutta, Mrinal Mukherjee and Riintu Dey in another pivotal roles, with Ashok Kumar and Rimjhim Gupta in guest appearance. The soundtrack of the film was composed by Jeet Gannguli, while the screenplay and dialogues was written by N.K Salil. Inspired from the politically incorrect situations, the film revolves around some gruesome murders taken places in Kolkata, where every victims are reputed and famous in the society, including Police, 17 PWD Officers, an advocate, a doctor, multiple ration dealers, an engineer and later all of them are revealed to be involved in corruption in each and every fields Kolkata Police declares it to be a serial killing case, as all of those murders are done by an organisation named 'Tiger', which is mistakenly assumed to be a naxalite organisation.
