The Thorat[1] (Marathi: थोरात) is a cland (Gotra) of Koli casteing found in the Indians state of Maharashtrian and Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.[2]

The Thorat Kolis ruled over Dadra and Nagar Haveli till 1262.[3] but in 1262, Koli king Nag Thorat was defeated by Ramsing who was a Rajput from Rajasthana.[4] later, Thorat Kolis lived by plundering.[5]
