Reception edit

Critical response edit

The film received generally positive reviews from critics.[6]

Yoon Min-sik from The Korea Herald wrote, "One-dimensional characters, comic-bookish exaggeration, numerous plot holes and no real twist -- yet the film still manages to be quite fun with adrenaline-pumping action and excitement. It’s not a masterpiece, but it manages to create an intriguing, messed-up world."[7]

On its opening day, the film finished first place at the box office by attracting 176,604 moviegoers, ahead of Terminator: Dark Fate and Kim Ji-young: Born 1982.[8] During its opening weekend, the film topped box office with US$6.74 million gross from 879,000 admissions.[9] The film surpassed 2 million admissions on November 22.[10]
