Thakurgaon University is a public university in Thakurgaon District. It is the second general University in Rangpur Division after Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur. It is the 51st Public University in Bangladesh.[1]

editIn October 2023, parliament passed the Thakurgaon University Act, 2023 to establish a university in Thakurgaon District.[2]
