Merge

edit

{{WPRock disco}} should be merged into this template. The functionality provided by it (a different category, etc.) should simply be done with a |disco=yes or |disco-task-force=yes or |genre=disco parameter. See any project banner that makes use of task force parameters for code you can just copy-paste and modify, e.g. {{WPBiography}}. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 20:58, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Template acting funky

edit

The section of the template that states "The article has not been rated for quality and/or importance yet. Please rate the article and then leave comments here to explain the ratings and/or to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the article." is indented way to the right, making it come out very narrow and making the template itself go very long. I am not sure how to fix that formatting. Rlendog (talk) 05:53, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

{{editprotected}}
If the word TEMPLATE is desired, instead of NA, may we have the code changed?
from
|FULL_QUALITY_SCALE =
to
|FULL_QUALITY_SCALE = yes
Then the word TEMPLATE would display whether |class=template or even just left blank |class=
As it is now, even placing class=template in {{WikiProject Rock music}} still will not force the code to display the word TEMPLATE. Prapsnot (talk) 07:20, 4 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Can somebody add this version, the other template is muddled up if you see Talk:Bryan Adams page, Talk:Linkin Park or many others, this problem can be fixed with this template. --Be Black Hole Sun (talk) 08:15, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

  Not done for now: What are the problems with the current template? I very much doubt they can't be fixed without reverting to a hardcoded version. Happymelon 07:45, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I agree with not changing yet, until whatever issue there is can be pointed out and described. If it's anything, I think it could be that when it's transcluded there is the following line:

Comments: edit · history · watch · purge

Happy Melon, is that supposed to be there? Otherwise it looks like it's working correctly.Matthewedwards (talk contribs  email) 08:30, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's enabled by |COMMENT=yes parameter, transcluding the /comments subpage where one exists. If that's not desirable, just remove that parameter to disable the functionality. Happymelon 12:17, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Small change

edit

{{editprotected}}

In the banner, can the two occurences of yes in the following section be removed.

Change:

 |ATTENTION_CAT        = yes
|infobox={{{needs-infobox|}}}
 |INFOBOX_CAT          = yes

To:

 |ATTENTION_CAT        =
|infobox={{{needs-infobox|}}}
 |INFOBOX_CAT          =

The reason is at those parameter should be Categories as you can see when you look at Category:Yes which is where the articles are currently being added to.

{{editprotected}} Could the sandbox version be copied over. It is just tidying up some of the banner options. Thanks. -- WOSlinker (talk) 22:06, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Book-class support

edit

{{editrequest}} Several books have been tagged with the banner, but the subpage isn't enabled. Per documentation, simply set "|QUALITY_SCALE=subpage", and magic will happen. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 11:23, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Done. Make sure everything works as intended as well. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 13:55, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
It does, thanks a bunch. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 21:15, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
