Adding an optional width to the template

It would be nice if you could add an optional width to the template, and have the current width of the template be the default value, since I added a border around my user-page to make the page appear narrower, like my user-pages on Wikia, but I can't get the border any narrower than 71% because this template exceeds 70%. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:19, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
