Something is amiss

 Done Diffing the sandbox 888897199 and the live 775103074 show the only change is the addition of two "sysop-show" span classess which is not breaking anything. While the template is only used on the talk pages of blocking admins, talk page watchers and former admins don't need to see these links (which wouldn't work anyways). I wonder if a similar kind of code exists for the "checkuser (log)" portion. Ben · Salvidrim! ✉ 03:04, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

@Salvidrim!: my thoughts exactly. I have filed a few other edit requests to hide sys-op links (for {{Former Tor}}, {{Unblock-auto}}, and {{Unblock-un reviewed}}) and am planning out a multi-part edit request to both create the infrastructure for and make use of a checkuser version of this.
