Template:R from album is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible template. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. If the proposal is uncontroversial or has been discussed and is supported by consensus, editors may use {{edit template-protected}} to notify an administrator or template editor to make the requested edit. Usually, any contributor may edit the template's documentation to add usage notes or categories.

Italics override option

To editor Frietjes: Just curious as to when the italic album title would be overridden, since all album titles are formatted in italics. Technical reason? – Paine 20:47, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Paine Ellsworth: it looks like I added it for iTunes Festival: London 07 – Imogen Heap: An Evening with I Megaphone where the title is lowercase and italics. the problem is you can't have two 'displaytitle' overrides in a single article. Frietjes (talk) 21:07, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Okay, love it. I saw the huge red-letter warning on preview. Just for future reference, the 1st (upper) instance of {{Redirect template}} in all rcats that have it only governs usage of the {{This is a redirect}} (Redr) template, while the lower instance governs the usage of rcats that tag redirects individually. Since Redr won't recognize named parameters (except nocat), I changed the upper instance to an unnamed (1st param) so that Redr can also use this function.
