Template talk:Miami Dolphins staff

is there a particular reason why the edits I made were undone? What's posted is wrong/incomplete. 20:24, 5 August 2008 (UTC)cshashaty 5 August 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cshashaty (talkcontribs)

This is not a full staff directory; just the essential, football-oriented positions are listed. 1 T/C 01:36, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see that but it should be more extensive AND CORRECT. I edited it once, someone else (the person who undid my adds perhaps) can fix it. cshashaty 6 August 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cshashaty (talkcontribs) 20:45, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's like Pats1 said. The template is for the Dolphins coaching staff, not the organization's staff. I can move it to such a name if you'd like, but the intended purpose for this template is to display the coaching staff and the key front office figures (owners, GMs, etc.). Such people are the only ones likely to have Wikipedia pages anyway, so I see no point in listing the lower level front office guys who very well may never be notable enough to have articles here.►Chris NelsonHolla! 23:53, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK, but you to be more explicit beyond just "staff" and you need to reconcile your info against the info the Dolphins have posted. E.G., ownership info is incorrect and personnel staff listed is incomplete, esp on the pro personnel side (multi-role approach right now with Gaine, Dick Haley, and Chris Shea). Also, Todd Bowles is the secondary coach in practice...his asst HC title is in name only as they gave it to him to get him away from the Cowboys. cshashaty 14 August 2008Cshashaty

WP:V - his title is what it is; we don't just change it based on our whim. Pats1 T/C 22:23, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Darren Krein has been hired as the new head strength and condition coach. Please stop deleting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.166.197.168 (talk) 18:22, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
