Comments edit
This template is for Babylon 5 articles with a corresponding Guide page at The Lurker's Guide, specifically the individual Babylon 5 episodes. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 08:26, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
How to use this template:
Type {{Lurker|###}}. Replace the ### with the number that appears on the Guide page. For instance, Midnight on the Firing Line's Guide Page appears at "http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/guide/001.html". So, typing {{Lurker|001}} creates the following:

Encourages poor sourcing edit
I'd suggest, based on what I see at All Alone in the Night, that this template encourages poor sourcing practices for a genre of articles (TV episodes) that is famous for being badly sourced or totally unsourced. This makes these articles delete-bait for conscientious editors trying to improve encyclopedic quality by adhering to essential Wikipedia policies of verifiability and reliable sourcing. I would ask users of this template to consider how they might instead work on providing specific citations of the material supporting text in B5 articles, as I recently did for one item in "AAitN". (Perhaps this template could be made more compatible for use in footnotes, tweaked along the lines of {{cite web}}.) It would also help to bring in additional (and wherever possible, more independent) sources to bolster both the documented accuracy and the notability of these articles. Thank you for your consideration. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 02:58, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Suggested Category Change edit
Category:Television external link templates would be more specific than Category:External link templates. -- Pemilligan (talk) 22:42, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
Suggested Formatting Change edit
Remove the bullet. Editors can add that on their pages if they want it. As is, this template works poorly in ref tags (see Stephen Macht). -- Pemilligan (talk) 22:44, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
