Add a template to Boston Marathon

Hello, I think it is a good idea to add a part to the infobox in Boston Marathonthat has a redirect to the latest race. In this case, being the 2019 Boston Marathon. Please ping me when updated or replied. IsraeliIdan (talk) 12:41, 18 April 2019 (UTC)

World Athletics category

I think there should be a World Athletics (maybe just WA) category instead of just the IAAF category now. I don't know how to add this though. Jozape (talk) 18:47, 16 May 2021 (UTC)

I would agree. A bot would probably have to change all iaaf_category to wa_category Nordat (talk) 13:49, 6 July 2023 (UTC)

Native name

On pages like Nanjing Marathon it would be good if there was an option for "native_name". Also, once you start to look at Half Marathon and longer, having a map as well as a image would be useful. Gusfriend (talk) 08:26, 28 October 2022 (UTC)

Additional parameter "logo" and maybe template athletics competition

A new parameter logo like in Template:Infobox company with just one parameter and a standard size. So, you just have to enter e.g. Testpicture.svg and the infobox generates the right size logo. Because the box is also used for athletics (track) competitions it might be useful to rename it or at least create a Redirect to this one Nordat (talk) 13:47, 6 July 2023 (UTC)
