Uses Infobox and list template
editThis template needs a Uses Infobox template like {{Uses infobox person}}, {{Uses infobox sportsperson}}, or {{Uses Infobox settlement}}.
Also it needs a list template like {{Buildings and structures infobox templates}}.
If there is no objection, I can create them.

- Not done Shkuru Afshar, this edit hasn't been done because it's not clear why we need to make these edits. What is the purpose of the edits you are proposing? --Tom (LT) (talk) 03:17, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Tom (LT)Hi. To tell users that templates bone, artery, vein, lymph, nerve, neuron, brain, muscle, embryology, and ligament are subtemplates (customized wrappers) of Template:Infobox anatomy.
Also it needs a list template like {{Buildings and structures infobox templates}} to be placed at the bottom of related templates. {{Buildings and structures infobox templates}} has been used at all template documtation pages. Example: {{Infobox airport}} Shkuru Afshar (talk) 03:50, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, got it. In that case yes Shkuru Afshar, very happy for you to do this and also, thanks for your initiative. You can create something like {{Uses infobox anatomy}} and I'll have a double check regarding its accuracy when you're done, and {{Anatomy infobox templates}} as the navbox. Please make sure you're editing the documentation pages (that's /doc) rather than the templates themselves. --Tom (LT) (talk) 07:41, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Tom (LT) I created these 2 templates. They are ready for your double check. Cheers Shkuru Afshar (talk) 10:58, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, I've edited one and the other template is fine to use. Please be careful to use them on the documentation pages and not the templates themselves :). --Tom (LT) (talk) 07:39, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Change this:
| label51 = [[Terminologia Histologica|TH]] | data51 = {{#if:{{{TH|{{#property:P1694}}}}} |[https://www.unifr.ch/ifaa/Public/EntryPage/ViewTH/THh{{Str rep|{{Str mid|{{{TH|{{#property:P1694}}}}}|2|4}}|.|}}.html {{{TH|{{#property:P1694}}}}}]}}
to this:
| label51 = [[Terminologia Histologica|TH]] | data51 = {{#if:{{{TH|{{#property:P1694}}}}} | {{TerminologiaHistologica|{{{TH|{{#property:P1694}} }}} }} }}
In order to use the TerminologiaHistologica template and match Terminologia Embryologica and Terminologia Anatomica links. Anton.t.gregersen (talk) 18:36, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Done thanks for proposing this change - one discussed at WT:ANAT. I have implemented the change and having tested it can confirm it produces a more useful result than previous. --Tom (LT) (talk) 03:21, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Reason for default italics?
editIs there a reason why italics are automatically applied to this infobox's above field? This results in italics for terms/topics that aren't rendered with italics in prose, like Nervous system and Bone and Latissimus dorsi muscle. I plan on removing this if there isn't a reason. — Goszei (talk) 03:31, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- I have removed this feature. Please ping me if a revert is needed. — Goszei (talk) 06:51, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
Thanks. I never even noticed these were italicised and don’t know any reason why they need to be. Tom (LT) (talk) 09:30, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
Add Cell Ontology IDs from Wikidata?
editHello! I currently cannot edit the template. It would be great to have the Cell Ontology IDs showing up in the "cell" subtemplate. The Wikidata property is https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P7963 and it has a few thousand uses on Wikidata. CL is the most prominent source of cell type IDs currently; Wikipedia would benefit from having it in pages like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_blood_cell.
I'd be happy to do anything needed, just let me know. All the best, TiagoLubiana (talk) 21:00, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
