Edit request to complete TfD nomination

edit

Template:If both has been listed at Templates for discussion (nomination), but it was protected, so it could not be tagged. Please add:

{{subst:tfm|help=off|type=tiny|1=Both}}

to the top of the page to complete the nomination. Thank you. Nickps (talk) 11:08, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Paine Ellsworth: Nick has reverted it. Nickps (talk) 11:48, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
This may or may not have broken the "Ambassador to" section of officeholder infoboxes (example: Gary Locke). It definitely did break Template:Marriage. Toadspike [Talk] 12:00, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well, as I said in User talk:Nick, {{subst:tfm|help=off|type=disabled|1=Both}} or noinclude can be used to add the notice without breaking anything. We don't need to remove it from the page. Nickps (talk) 12:01, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

You'll probably want to hide the linebreak between the tfm and the content, with html comments. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 17:28, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's still breaking things. See Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Broken infoboxes where I suggested to just noinclude it. PrimeHunter (talk) 12:29, 10 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Consider it did.   P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 13:44, 10 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
