Final

edit

I don't think this is "final" in that it can be undone.

I've seen it undone in edit logs: There will be edit summaries like "right to vanish" then several months later activity resumes and pages are restored.

Does this need to be added to the template documentation? davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 20:31, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Contradiction of Wikipedia:Right to vanish

edit

This template contradicted Wikipedia:Right to vanish because it said the user talk page can be deleted when a user vanishes, while the project page says "talk pages are rarely deleted". Right to vanish on meta-wiki says user talk pages can be deleted, but this template should be quoting the Wikipedia page. So I've changed the link from the meta-wiki page to the Wikipedia page (which only existed as a redirect to meta-wiki when the template was created) and removed the mention of deleting user talk pages. I've also added a mention of deleting user subpages in its place, which is allowed. If anyone has any questions or concerns about this, please send me a message on my talk page. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 19:43, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
