Existing stations edit

I've noticed that some of the London stations that are listed on the template (City Thameslink, Dagenham Dock and Canning Town) are actually existing stations which are planned to be added to DLR extensions.

Should they be listed in this template, as they aren't "Future stations"? D-Notice (talk) 12:03, 16 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think the difference with all of them is that they are specifically new DLR stations as opposed to new tube or railway stations. Still I'm not sure any of them belong in this list, which probably should be restricted to entirely new stations being officially proposed or under construction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.160.195.96 (talk) 22:22, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Definition edit

What this box needs is a clear definition of what should be included. Currently it has new stations under construction, stations at various stages of planning, and re-opened old stations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.160.195.96 (talk) 22:27, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is there likely to be a station built there in the next ... (let's say) two/three years? Kevin Steinhardt (talk) 15:35, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Looks as if it'll be the next few months, see here (need to click "Projects" link on menu bar at top). --GuillaumeTell 17:38, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brent Cross Thameslink? edit

There has been talk for a while of a new station between Cricklewood and Hendon stations on the Midland Main Line, so called "Brent Cross Thameslink" this is the reason Crickelwood and Hendon platforms arent being extended. So should there be an article on the proposed station which, is also proposed to be a interchange with the proposed North and West London Light Railway. Maybe. There has, indeed, been some talk but I've seen little evidence to date that the plans are realistic (eg. being taken seriously by railtrack/operators, funding, etc.) Worth a mention but I'm less certain it justifies an article yet. --AlisonW (talk) 16:14, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
