Could you please change the format of this template to horizontal (bottom infobox) instead of vertical. The reason is that if we are talking about foreign relations here, there are always two countries involved. Other countries have their own foreign-relations templates which go into footer. As it is shared topic, both infoboxes should be in the same place. Suva 18:12, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The parameters work all ok here. Can you please provide the article/s on which it doesn't work? --Россавиа Диалог 21:33, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please remove the collapsed sections now and also the Semi-Protection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.161.120.52 (talk) 22:24, 24 June 2008 (UTC) Hey Russavia can I ask you an important question. Why do you still want the collapsed sections here. I looked at all templates regarding bilateral relations. I have found out that all of them don't have collapsed sections. I hope that you look up the Bilateral relations of the United States and Canada. They all have sections from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, and South America. None of them are in a collapsed state. Please let me edit this template. I will only remove the collapsed sections and the ones that still have to added. You can later add about the Foreign reltions of those countries when there up. But please don't make it in a collapsed state again. It will make everyone's lives very difficult. fsbi 17:06. 2 July 2008 (UTC) Reply

Removing the Collapsible groups.

edit

Hi, Russavia. My name is Enlip. I am a user from Greece. I have just seen how you have just edited the Wikipedia page on the Foreign relations of Russia. I strongly object to that because of the fact that you have continued to keep the collapsible groups. It should be removed because it doesn't work at all. It is wrong. Look at the Foreign relations of Canada, the U.S. and even the U.K. and Greece. Their templates on Foreign relations don't even have collapsible groups at all. In fact they have all beeen united. So I think that you should give me a chance to just remove the collapsibe groups only. Also I will add the flag of Russia because Russia is really an important country and it also may become a superpower once more in this century. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Enlip (talkcontribs) 12:46, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good News now.

edit

Well Rusavia, I am very glad that you have just added the Flag of Russia on the Template:Foreign relations of Russia. But I want to remove those collapsible groups. I don't like them because they are very awkward. I mean even Greece doesn't have it. Even Canada doesn't have it. Please remove those collapsible groups and also please add the section on Russia and the United Nations, Diplomatic Missions from or to Russia, Foreign Ministry of Russia, and Russia and Weapons of Mass Destruction. Please add them too. And also get rid of the semi-protection now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Enlip (talkcontribs) 17:33, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, Koov, I will not be removing the collapsible sections. I will discuss the pros and cons (if there are any) of having collapsible groups with other editors in good standing, but will not discuss with Koov sockpuppets, and will revert changes made by those puppets on sight. --Russavia Dialogue Stalk me 09:22, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could you, Russavia, change the collapsible groups into collapsible sections like the Template:Foreign relations of the United States. I think that this is the best wey ever. Please discuss with me and change the collapsible groups of Template:Foreign relations of Russia into collapsible section. You could keep all of the other Foreign relations sections. But divide them into two parts: Bilateral relations and Diplomacy. That is the best way every. Moiny. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Moiny (talkcontribs) 20:37, 11 November 2008 (UTC) How could that previous user have removed the Flag of russia. That was a part of it. Please put it right back there. Comeon I liked it when the Template:Foreign relations of Russia had the flag of Russia on it. Please put it right back where it belongs right now!!! Please open up the section from semi-protection to that I can just edit it and put back the flag of Russia where it belongs. All of the other templates have their flags on them. I want to put the flag right back where it belongs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kinpo (talkcontribs) 14:29, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

request to add NATO-Russia relations

edit

{{editprotected}} Could an admin please add a link to NATO-Russia relations in the "Diplomacy" section? (I think this would be most appropriate since NATO is inter-continental. Thanks, Dar-Ape 00:05, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputes section

edit

Shouldn't there be a Disputes section in this template with articles like Russia–Ukraine gas disputes in it, like in other Foreign relations of.... templates? — Mariah-Yulia (talk) 17:57, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'd say no, because it is only a subsection of Russia-Ukraine relations, which is already part of the template. --Russavia Dialogue 14:27, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Adding Palestine-Russia relations

edit

Could you Russavia add the part about Palestine-Russia relations and even Palestine-Soviet Union relations also. I really want to see something about Russian/Soviet relations with Palestine because I believe that both countries had strongly supported the freedoms of the Palestinians. I hope that you send me a message soon and will create a piece about the Russian Federaton and Palestine relations and also between the Soviet Union and Palestine. Since America supported Kosovo's independece then I think that Russia should strongly support the Palestinian cause very strongly along with both Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Arab League - Russian federation Relations

Please add Russia-Arab League relations.

edit

I would like to make a request to add Russia-Arab League relations on Template:Foreign relations of Russia. I think that the time is now to add it. I had looked at it and I have found out that it is good enough to be here. We already have Russia – European Union relations and Russia-NATO relations in the section of diplomacy. I was wondering what is wrong with adding Russia-Arab League relations. I think that it will be both good and usefull. So I ask all of you to consider adding Russia-Arab League relations to Template:Foreign relations of Russia. Please do it soon. PNA record (talk) 23:23, 27 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can an admin please replace the current template with the code at User:Russavia/Foreign - please ensure only I have edited the coding before adding. It is simply adding South Sudan, another section for multilateral, and fixing some dashes. --Russavia Let's dialogue 20:35, 3 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've applied your change, but made a few others: I removed the red link to Russia–ASEAN relations and fixed a few redirects (though I wonder why we have Republic of Macedonia – Russia relations—it's not like Greek Macedonia is going to have foreign relations soon). Ucucha (talk) 22:59, 3 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Ucucha for adding Russia-Arab League relations but Iam disappointed that you had removed the flagicon for Template:Foreign relations of Russia. I have looked at every single foreign relations template and I have found out that they have a flagicon. Could you please Ucucha put the flagicon for Russia today or as soon as possible. Thank you very much. RohilPCS (talk) 0:30 3 September 2011 (UTC)

I need to undo right now what User:HandsomeFella had done before. He decided to remove all of the other articles without any reason. The reaction to what he did was overwhelmingly negative. That is why you must give the change to undo what he did in the semi-protected article as soon as possible. I will not remove the collapsible groups. I will only remove what that other user did.

user:Palestine194 talk 29 October 2012 11:24 (UTC) Palestine194 (talk) 03:22, 30 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I need you people to undo what User:HandsomeFella had did just recently. I have asked you all repeatedly to either allow me to undo what HandsomeFella did or allow another editor to do it. I will give you the information that you need. Just please add back all the things that User:HandsomeFella did to this template. If you do it then I will stop writing these things. So please undo what HandsomeFella did and I will stop writing. Palestine194 talk 30 October 2012 11:25 (UTC)

Done Redlinks added back per request. There was no "overwhelming negative reaction", only a somewhat hysterical one. HandsomeFella (talk) 16:16, 30 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think that the edit of HandsomeFella was correct becouse from WP:FOR#Bilateral relations it say that for Notability a bilateral relation need some requisition for being created so for example Russia-Andorra it must not be created so why insert it on the template? Make it like the other powerful countries' templates

edit

Hello I had just noticed that the Template:Foreign relations of the United States and Template:Foreign relations of China have collapsible groups but they are structured in a different way. In both of the above mentioned templates, the bilateral relations and the multilateral relations are both separate. Also there is a separate section for the Diplomacy. I am now asking all of the registered users to see if they can take up my request to change this Foreign relations template of Russia into the same format as the templates of the United States and China. This is because of the fact that Russia is a powerful country like the United States and China. So just restructure this template like the other two templates of the United States and China. Vargot (talk) 16:30, 8 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can somebody or any other registered users here deal with this template over here and make it into the same collapsible format as the United States and China. I looked it up at my mobile phone and I found out that the formats of both Template:Foreign relations of the United States and Template:Foreign relations of China are widely accepted and are correct. So as a result of these facts, can some of you registered users change the format in the same way as the above mentioned templates. I mean if it can work out for both the Foreign relations templates for both the United States and China, then it can definitely work out for Russia. So just change because I had just found this out from my mobile phone device. Vargot (talk) 16:35, 8 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ok can I hope that the changes happen very soon. Please give me a response after the Template is restructured in the same way as Template:Foreign relations of the United States and Template:Foreign relations of China. I hope it will be restructured soon in the same format. That format should mean that their should be separate sections of Bilateral relations, Multilateral relations, and Diplomacy. Vargot (talk) 17:35, 8 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Change the format of Template:Foreign relations of Russia

edit

{{editprotected}} Hello I had long ago requested that the format of this template be changed into the same format as Template:Foreign relations of China and Template:Foreign relations of the United States. The first section should have Bilateral relations. The second section should have Multilateral relations. Finally the last section should be about Diplomacy. That is what I have long wanted. I really wanted to edit this page but I can't do it because of the fact that it is semi-protected. I want somebody or anybody who is a kind and gentle Wikipedia user to please change the format of Template:Foreign relations of Russia. This foreign relations template of Russia should be made into the same format as Template:Foreign relations of the United States and Template:Foreign relations of China. Just please edit this template of Russia and give me a response as soon as possible. Just please do it soon. Vargot (talk) 16:16, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
