The Template:OMIM and Template:PMID forms were changed earlier this year to a shorter URL format, see Template_talk:PMID#Suggest_change_to_new_URL_format The following is an attempt for this template, adding a 2nd argument like OMIM, but using the expr form like PMID

That would get template output closer to "Entrez Gene: IL15 interleukin 15". from Interleukin 15, though perhaps the Gene number shouldn't be displayed if the 2nd argument is there. RDBrown (talk) 01:05, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
