I'd like to update this notice to be the following:

It is also recommended that a link to the discussion here be provided on the relevant page(s) the discussion originated from using {{tlx|VG-Discussion}}.<br><br>The project recommends searching the discussion archives to see if your question has been already asked and answered. A complete index of discussions is [[Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games/Archive index|available here]] and the archive box provides a search option.

The update consists of:

• Adding line breaks to create the spacing in the original request. (Not an issue if there is a reason why paragraphs are discouraged.)
• Switching the template link from {{tl}} to {{tlx}} to make it stand out more.
• Adding a new paragraph about archived discussions. The discussion for the new paragraph is at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games#Project's edit notice.

 Done Interesting Tidy bug, if you have 2 paragraphs it runs them together but with 3 it separates them fine. Anomie⚔ 16:22, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
