Reason: The name of the university has been proposed to be changed from West Bengal University of Technology to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee via a facebook post which can be found here. However, the required legislations have not been passed by the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. Please stop users from moving the page to the new name.

Markup: Please do not change the name of the university to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The required legislations have not yet been passed in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.
