Subhas Chandra Bose spelling
 
The spelling of this person's name is  Y Subhas Chandra Bose and  N NOT Subhash Chandra Bose. Check in this Indian Government document or the references added in the article. If you have any question or comment, post in article's talk page.

But, please don't change it to incorrect spelling.

Note: Some image file names may contain the incorrect spelling "Subhash". Don't change the spelling in file names (or quotations)

This has been a long time issue. Actually the common spelling of the word is "Subhash" as in Subhash Ghai, Subhash Mukhopadhyay, Subhash Kak. But this person (Bose) used the uncommon spelling and this creates lots of confusion. In every few days some people change it to incorrect spelling. --Tito Dutta 18:15, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

  Not done Please get a consensus for this notice on the article's talk page. Also, I think it would be a good idea to make it less garish - how about removing the animated stop image, like this:

I've made some suggested changes to the above, and fixed the link to the talk page. Also, that one link to the Indian government document isn't such persuasive evidence, so I've removed the link in my suggestion. (More convincing evidence would be showing how he himself spelled the name, or how the majority of English-language sources spell it.)
