Template-protected edit request on 5 November 2022 edit

Good Faith Collaboration is an article about a book related to Wikipedia, hence it needs the following editnotice

generated from the code
{{editnotice
| expiry = indefinite
| id = Wikipedia article editnotice
| header =
| headerstyle =
| text = This article relates to Wikipedia itself. Please note that links to non-article namespaces should be treated as external links and not included in the body. Wikipedia is not a reliable source, so references to it must comply with WP:ABOUTSELF.

To editor CrafterNova: checked the edit screens of several books about Wikipedia at the Bibliography of Wikipedia, and found none with such an edit notice. Curious as to why this book article needs an edit notice? Has there been a discussion that resulted in consensus to include this edit notice? @Paine Ellsworth: No, there has not been any such discussion until now, but there should be. If Wikipedia policies allow it, then this editnotice can be used for books about Wikipedia. — CrafterNova [ TALK ] [ CONT ] 19:00, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for that, editor CrafterNova! As you probably know, there is actually an edit notice template that can be applied without the need to use the bare Editnotice template itself. The code used here is the code in Wikipedia article editnotice, and that is all that would need to be transcluded in page notices. Also, suggest you choose a better venue for discussion, because this edit notice page probably isn't watched. Perhaps the talk page of the bibliography page, which has 61 watchers, over half of whom have visited recent edits, would be a good place for a discussion? Thanks again, Best to you and Happy Holidays! P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'r there 21:15, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Page notices are fully protected or template-protected, so that's why I created this edit request. Thank you for mentioning Talk:Bibliography of Wikipedia, which is definitely a better place for this discussion. Welcome, and happy holidays to you too ;) — CrafterNova [ TALK ] [ CONT ] 05:26, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
