SounderBruce, I'm intrigued by your comment "please AGF in reviews". When did you have the impression that I did not assume good faith? Schwede66 22:37, 8 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Schwede66: The first sentence is an issue and would intimidate a new editor into potentially leaving the DYK process entirely. SounderBruce 02:17, 11 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
You mean this one? "Would you mind *not* changing hooks fundamentally after they have been approved?" If so, here's why that's an issue, SounderBruce. I had signed off on the hooks ("All three hooks check out") after checking them for eligibility. You then edited one of the hooks to the extent that it needs to go through the checking process again. That's a problem; you should not do that. What you should have done instead is to add a new (fourth) hook to the nomination, so that there is no room for ambiguity that the last hook still needs approval. Do not fundamentally change hooks after they have been approved. That's got nothing to do with bad faith. That's got all to do with you doing something that you should not do. It needs to be spelled out to you so that you won't do it again and that's why I brought it up. I'd be keen to know how me pointing this out to you is possibly an issue, either for an old hand or a newbie. Schwede66 18:28, 12 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
