Template talk:Did you know nominations/Sandhya Dhar

@Mujinga: This DyK has been promoted. Being not native in English after re reading DyK I am not sure, but I have small doubt about placement of the word 'both' in the DyK question.

The present one is correct or needs to be some thing like '... that this year, Sandhya Dhar received both the awards, the Nari Shakti Puraskar and won a bronze medal playing boccia at the Indian national championships?

Hi Bookku, thanks for dropping me a line. No I think the original hook reads great in British English. Regarding the alternative version you suggest, as a native english speaker I would say it does not read well. I wouldn't worry about it further; as you may or may not know, hooks are often changed last minute in a rather hidden and hierarchical way, so any errors will be corrected (and indeed other errors are sometimes introduced). In any case, cheers for the review! Mujinga (talk) 09:10, 8 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Bookku: Well as half expected, the hook was indeed altered in a "rather hidden and hierarchical way" to read "that in 2022 Sandhya Dhar has received both a Nari Shakti Puraskar and a bronze medal in boccia at the Indian national championships?" instead of the approved hook, "that this year, Sandhya Dhar both received the Nari Shakti Puraskar and won a bronze medal playing boccia at the Indian national championships?". Strange how this sort of behaviour is considered ok. Mujinga (talk) 18:18, 12 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mujinga Thanks for keeping me informed.
On side note, I did not receive notification for the 'ping' you made. P.S. It's there in notifications but did not appear in red to me or I missed in hurry or some thing IDK. I just read it since appeared on my watch list.
Wish you happy editing. Bookku, 'Encyclopedias = expanding information & knowledge' (talk) 07:09, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
