Merge with Contradict-inline

It would be great to merge this with {{Contradict-inline}}. It's particularly annoying that these are different templates since their names doesn't give any clue about the particularity of each. --Chealer (talk) 19:36, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

The documentation says clearly that this template is for contradictions within the same article. {{Contradict-inline}} is for contradictions between articles (which is why it has an "article" parameter. Debresser (talk) 20:19, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

We merge redundant templates routinely. The then-current {{contradict inline}} template was useless and malfunctional if not given an explicit parameter pointing to another article. Merge completed, with additional new features that help people identify the nature and location of the conflict, and ensure proper categorization (including when people use the template on non-mainspace pages, or flag conflicts between mainspace content and non-mainspace content, e.g. source discussions on the talk page).
