Where do the categories go? edit

I think it's perfectly fine if you want to leave the categories in the template, rather than exporting them to the doc, the way most templates do. Sorry if I threw you for a loop. My main goal was to clear all the Category:Specific-source templates out of Category:Citation templates and down into their proper sub-category. I hope don't mind if I make just that change. ---- CharlesGillingham (talk) 16:41, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Adding categories is fine. Thanks for the help. The concern that I had was that the inclusion of cats from the docs had made two places the template was getting a different set of categories from. Since the docs are a subpage of the template and the template is the subject the categorization refers to, that should be the only place editors need to look for its categories. I hope that makes sense. It's about keeping it maintainable for future editors, just as your work is, but a different aspect of it. Ikluft (talk) 19:41, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

accessdate with no url error edit

This template can throw an accessdate with no url error (see, e.g., Kaali crater), which is visible to those who has such things turned on and adds the page to the maintenance category Category:Pages using citations with accessdate and no URL. Jason Quinn (talk) 01:03, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
