"Thread" parameter

It is quite unclear from the documentation of this template as to how one is to implement the third, "thread" parameter. If someone can please explain how this is used, both here and on the documentation page, it would be most appreciated. Thanks! DKqwerty (talk) 06:17, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

I think "Notice of discussion at the Conflict of interest noticeboard" would read better. The capital C is better because it is the name of the noticeboard. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:54, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
