Adding blank line

This template appears to be adding a blank line to some articles immediately after its entry. I don't know why. See for example Demographics of Eritrea, Demographics of Moldova, Geography of Chile, Sulphur Emissions Reduction Protocol. Station1 (talk) 06:15, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

References to old editions of CIA World Factbook

Problem. This template is bust if you specify year=2011, for example. The reason is that old editions of the factbook are picked up from the University of Missouri (UMSL) website, but this no longer maintains archival copies of the factbook.

Possible solutions. (1) I have found a source (the CIA World Factbook download page) that allows editions for earlier years to be downloaded but not browsed. (2) CIA World Factbook FAQs > General > (last item) says that there are browsable earlier editions out there, but doesn't say where. (3) The Wayback Machine.

The problem for me is that I am not experienced in editing templates, and would feel more comfortable if an experienced template editor did it. AWhiteC (talk) 20:36, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

@AWhiteC: I'll be happy to update it for you, but first we need to decide which of your options to use. At the moment it looks like using the downloadable CIA archives might be best, but if you prefer one of the others we can do that instead. Did you find any of those other rehosting sites, or did you find the different editions of the Factbok on the Wayback Machine? (And do you have links to them?) @Mr. Stradivarius: Thanks. I haven't been able to find a convenient browsable archive that covers a good number of years, so let's just go for the downloadable CIA archive, which looks like https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/download/download-2000/index.html where 2000 can in fact be anything between 2000 and 2013.
