Inclusion/exclusion of certain former World Group teams

edit

I propose removing Chile, Chinese Taipei, Cuba, Greece, Latvia, Mexico, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay from the section of the template titled "Former World Group teams". These teams have never been in the World Group in the current format and have never advanced to the quarterfinals under the old format (which would be equivalent). If the criteria for inclusion is simply playing in the World Group in any format, then there are some unexplained absences in the list, e.g., Luxembourg, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Thailand. There needs to be some sort of consistent criteria to follow, assuming someone hasn't already established an unspoken one. Assuming there isn't a consensus against it, I will eventually make the change I proposed. —Hermionedidallthework (talk) 20:55, 19 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Support If I am not mistaken, that is the criteria also being used for Template:Davis Cup. SOAD KoRn (talk) 21:49, 19 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Comment: I accidentally left out Belarus as one of the teams to be removed. –Hermionedidallthework (talk) 15:36, 20 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 02:53, 8 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
