Daylight savings time

In New York, daylight savings time is observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November.

Out by a few hours

Being based on midnight UTC rather than 2 am EST the template is out by 7 hours. We've got until March to either fix it or replace it. I suggest we replace it. Here are the three articles which use it.

• Eastern Time Zone (North America)
• Eastern Standard Time
• Central Time Zone (North America)

Note that if we fix it, it'll still be no good for the third article since that's the wrong time zone. JIMp _talk·cont 05:05, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

I've replaced it with zone-based code in each of these articles. Admittedly the code is quite hiddious-looking but I'm thinking of moving the lot off to an infobox. JIMp _talk·cont 08:51, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
