This is a documentation subpage for Template:WikiProject Judaism Invite. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
edit- When you put this template on a page you should write,
{{Template:WikiProject Judaism Invite|~~~}}.
The|~~~
part adds your username to where it says{{{1}}}
in the example above. Make sure you add 3 tiles (i.e. ~), NOT 4.
- There is NO need to write the date or the name of the recipient of the message. Both of these things are done automatically. The template starts by saying "So-and-So, you are invited...", this uses the
{{pagename}}
tag. Since this template is stored on the page labeled Template:WikiProject Judaism, this is how the beginning starts. This is NOT an error, please don't edit that part of the code. Also, at the end, the template reads "added on 30 June 2011, this part of the code uses the{{date}}
tag, please don't edit this part either. Finally, the part that reads {{{1}}} is fine, though it looks weird on this page, it works perfectly. If you don't trust me on any of these things, insert the template (with the|~~~
) into your user page and you'll see everything works. Thanks for reading this lengthy documentation.
Syntax for Inserting
