Template:TBS title/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:TBS title.

This template is used to generate an external link to a web page at TBS.

Note: This template should only be added to programming on TBS.

Usage edit

Unnamed parameters:

Named parameters:

{{TBS title | id= ID | title= TITLE }}

Using Wikidata property Q67765302:

Instructions edit

Go to tbs.com and search for the title you want.
Click on the thumbnail for the title.
The page URL should look like this:
https://www.tbs.com/shows/asset/tv:XXXXX...

or

https://www.tbs.com/shows/movies/:XXXXX...
Copy the text that appears after https://www.tbs.com/ in the URL.
Add one of the following to the external links section of the article:
{{TBS title | XXXXX... }}

{{TBS title | XXXXX... | Title Name }}

{{TBS title | id= XXXXX... }}

{{TBS title | id= XXXXX... | title= Title Name }}

----- is the text you've copied and Title Name is the title of the movie or show.

Note: This is a list item in the external links section so you should add a "*" in front of the template.

Go to tbs.com/ and search for Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.
Click on the link for Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. The link's URL is:
https://www.tbs.com/shows/harry-potter-20th-anniversary-return-to-hogwarts
Copy shows/harry-potter-20th-anniversary-return-to-hogwarts and add it to the template.

Result: TBS title/doc on TBS
