Usage

Use this template to format a reference from the Storting website which lists biographies of many members and former members of the Norwegian Parliament.

There are 3 parameters for this template:

Parameter	Description
id	Enter the id code from the website. Entering "id=" is optional.
name	Enter the name of the person. Entering "name=" is optional.
access-date	Enter the date the website was accessed. You must include "access-date=".

How to find the ID code

The "id" is found at the end of the URL address after the "perID=". For example: https://www.stortinget.no/no/Representanter-og-komiteer/Representantene/Representant/?perid=ES, the id is "ES". The id is often the initials of the person whose biography is on the page.

Examples

No parameters

If you are using this template on the wikipedia page for the person's biography, you can use the template without any parameters. Use: {{Stortingetbio}} and the template will pull the person's ID from Wikidata (if present there) and extract the link text from the page name, minus an parenthetical disambiguation. (If using this anywhere else, you must use parameters.)

With parameters

{{Stortingetbio|ES|Erna Solberg|access-date=2024-01-21}} OR

{{Stortingetbio|id=ES|name=Erna Solberg|access-date=2024-01-21}}

both produce:

"Erna Solberg" (in Norwegian). Storting. Retrieved 2024-01-21.
