Template:River Thames bridges

A source-to-mouth channel of the Thames can be traced that has 138 open bridges when the festival mentioned above is not on and does not have its extra bridge over the single channel, in which case 139; however if every bridge to a Thames island, such island with a link to both banks is counted, there are 85 more (mainly due to the channels dug or formalised in Ashton Keynes and Oxford); making a grand total 223. Including bridges to islands tied to one bank, the grand total is over 300.
This is a route-map template for a UK waterway.

Note: Per consensus and convention, most route-map templates are used in a single article in order to separate their complex and fragile syntax from normal article wikitext. See these discussions [1],[2] for more information.
