Parameters
editThe first unnamed parameter is used to show a subsection using an abbreviated form of the subsection title. Valid parameter values are:
- NPS National Park System
- SP State Park
- NF National Forest
- SF State Forest
- NWR National Wildlife Refuges
- SWA State Wildlife Area
- NLCS National Landscape Conservation System
- NMS National Marine Sanctuary
- NERR National Estuarine Research Reserves
- UCNRS University of California National Reserve System
Any pages that are not categorized will be placed in a hidden category titled Category:Protected areas of California articles without parameters. Any help in adding parameters to those pages would be greatly appreciated. Note that this hidden category will never be completely empty as there are several pages which use this template that shouldn't have a parameter. California for example.
