This template inserts the code ‍–‍, producing a U+2013 – EN DASH (–) within two U+200D ZERO WIDTH JOINER (‍), one each on both of its sides. This prevents line break at the endash.
Usage
editThis can be used, for example, to prevent line break as in:

Using {{nbnd}} (or its aliases: {{nbndash}},{{Non breaking en dash}}) between the years force to produce:
