This is a template to generate a link to a newspaper's current front page at the Newseum website.

Usage

  1. Go to http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/main.asp to find the newspaper you want.
  2. Click on the link to go to the newspaper's page.
  3. The page URL should look like
    http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/?tfp_display=list&tfp_id=XX_XX&ref_pge=lst
    where the text after "tfp_id= and before &... (if present) will be a code for the specific newspaper.
  4. Add to the external links section the text
    {{Newseum front page|XX_XX}}
    replacing XX_XX with the specific newspaper's code.

  2. Copy the text after tfp_id=, FL_TIMES, and then use it as the template's main parameter

Note that the link text between "Today's" and "front page" is the same as the title of the page the template is used on, with any title disambiguation deleted. To use different text for the title, use the parameter name=:
