Formatting template for letters in alphabet and script articles.

Template parameters

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
character	ch	Character or characters to be formatted. To substitute upper- and lower case characters, use up= and low=. To substitute independent and diacritical versions of a character, use ind= and dia=	String	optional
language	l	An ISO 639 or ISO 15924 language code. It is only necessary to provide a language code if providing an ISO transcription.	String	optional
script	s	A script code	String	optional
IPA	ipa	An IPA pronunciation for the character.	String	optional
ISO	iso	An ISO transcription based on the language code (l) provided.	String	optional
upper case letter	up	An upper case letter. If up= and low= are used, they will be rendered side-by-side, with tooltips	String	optional
lower case letter	low	A lower case letter. If up= and low= are used, they will be rendered side-by-side, with tooltips	String	optional
independent letter	ind	An independent letter. May be used with dia=, which will render the independent and diacritical forms side-by-side, with tooltips, or with f=, m=, i=, which will render the ind letter as the 'main' letter and place final, medial, and initial forms below	String	optional
