Parameters

edit
  • date: Date of the match. Use {{Start date}} (see: WP:ENGVAR for date (df=y) or month (mf=y) first options)
  • time: Time of the match. The local time of the match (local to the stadium it took place in). Either 24h or 12h formats are acceptable.
  • team1 and team2: Typically team1 is the home team. Both should be wikilined to a team page if there is one.
  • score: the numerical score of the game, with the two respective scores separated by an en dash (–). (The en dash should be used in any circumstance in which a score is displayed.)
  • periods: The score at the end of each of the periods of the game, each separated by a comma.
  • reference: The url of an official score sheet. Enter the link as a bare url; the template will format the link.
  • goalie1 and goalie2: The names of the goalies for the corresponding teams.
  • progression: The progression of the game score with each score separated by a line break (<br />).
  • goals1 and goals2: The name of the player, piped to only display the last name, to score each goal, separated by line breaks (<br />) in order to align the name of the player with the corresponding goal listed in the "progression" field. The names of players to assist the goal can be including in parentheses, and the type of goal, such as power play (PP), short-handed (SH), etc. may also be indicated. No player's name should be wikilinked more than once.
  • official and official2: The name of the game official and second game official, if necessary.
  • stadium: The name of the stadium or arena in which the game is played.
  • attendance: Total attendance of the game.
  • penalties1 and penalties2: The total penalty minutes for each respective team.
  • shots1 and shots2: The total number of shots on goal for each respective team.
  • bg: An optional field to change the background color of the entire box score. If you want it grey, don't add the "bg" parameter. If you do, and leave it blank, the background color will be white.
