Style guide edit

Wikilinking edit

As per the manual of style entry on linking, years should not be linked as they do not provide much benefit to the user. Linking of other entries is discouraged as most of these links will present themselves in the article's introduction.

Nationality icons edit

If a competitor's nationality is relevant, the following templates can be used to indicate nationality:

  • Sanae Kikuta {{JPN}} - will appear as Sanae Kikuta  Japan
  • Sanae Kikuta {{flag|Japan}} - will appear as Sanae Kikuta  Japan

Note: Flags should never be used as decoration, and should always be accompanied by the appropriate country name. In addition, they should only be used when absolutely relevant. For details, see the Manual of style for flags.
