Usage edit

The Infobox Rugby Sevens template is used to summarise information about a particular event in a rugby sevens tournament, such as an event in the World Rugby Sevens Series.

Blank template edit

{{Infobox Rugby Sevens
| countries =
| date =
| champions1 =
| runnersup1 =
| third1 =
| matches =
| attendance =
| tries =
| top point scorer =
| top try scorer =
| prevseason =
| nextseason =
}}

For backwards compatibility the parameter name third may also be used for third1.

Parameters for additional trophy competitions and place-getters edit

| champions2 =
| runnersup2 =
| third2 =
| champions3 =
| runnersup3 =
| third3 =
| champions4 =
| runnersup4 =
| third4 =

Parameters for alternative trophy names and dates edit

| trophy1    = <!-- defaults to: Cup -->
| trophy2    = <!-- defaults to: Plate -->
| trophy3    = <!-- defaults to: Bowl -->
| trophy4    = <!-- defaults to: Shield -->
| date1 =
| date2 =
| date3 =
| date4 =

Additional optional parameters edit

| series =
| image =
| imagesize =
| caption =
| MVP =
| separate =
| headerstyle =

If the parameter separate is defined, e.g. separate=yes, the trophy section headings are formatted separately to the tournament details heading (default style: "background:light grey", but may be customised using the headerstyle parameter. See #Canada Sevens example below of this separate formatting.
