Template:Happy Birthday/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Happy Birthday.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template is used by the Birthday Committee and its members to deliver birthday greetings for those listed on the birthday calendar. It uses a randomly chosen color gradient among several options if the |background= parameter is undefined.

Usage edit

Add the following to a user's talk page: {{subst:Happy Birthday|Custom last sentence|Age}}

Example: {{subst:Happy Birthday|Please keep on contributing!|47th}} produces
