This template is used to generate an external link to a web page for a film in the HanCinema. It should only be used in the "external links" section of an article.

For TV series, use HanCinema drama.

For actors, directors, or screenwriters, use HanCinema person.

Usage edit

No parameters edit

{{HanCinema film}} and the template will pull the ID from Wikidata (if present there) and extract the link text from the page title, minus an parenthetical disambiguation.

With parameters edit

The template then uses the article title as the anchor text:

* {{HanCinema film | ID }}
* {{HanCinema film | id= ID }}

To have the link text be other than the article title, use second parameter:

* {{HanCinema film | ID | Title }}
* {{HanCinema film | id= ID | title= Title }}

Detailed instructions edit

Copy and paste one of the options above into the article
Go to Hancinema.net and search for the film you want (say, A Werewolf Boy)
Click on the correct A Werewolf Boy in the list; this will bring up the page:
1. https://www.hancinema.net/korean_movie_A_Werewolf_Boy.php
Copy only the title (here, "A_Werewolf_Boy"), omitting the other text
Replace "ID" in the template code with the number
1. For the first option above, you'll then have
  * {{HanCinema film|A_Werewolf_Boy}} resulting in:
  - HanCinema film/doc at HanCinema
