Template documentation

This template can be used to specify one or more playing cards in the suit of [[{{{2}}} (suit)|{{{2}}}]].

Usage

The following are equivalent:

1. {{Acorns}}, {{Acorn}}, {{acorns}}, {{acorn}}, {{Suit of Acorns}}.
2. {{Leaves}}, {{Leaf}}, {{leaves}}, {{leaf}}, {{Suit of Leaves}}.
3. {{Suit of Hearts}}, {{German Hearts}}.
4. {{Bell}}, {{bell}}, {{Suit of Bells}}.

Note: {{Hearts}} goes to the template for the suit of Hearts in a French pack. {{Bells}} goes to a template about bells in general, not the playing card suit.

Examples

Suit alone

{{{{{1}}}}} gives: {{ {{{1}}} }}

Single card

{{{{{1}}}|A}} gives: {{ {{{1}}} | A}}; alternatively, A{{{{{1}}}}} gives: A{{ {{{1}}} }}

Multiple cards

{{{{{1}}}|AKOU}} gives: {{ {{{1}}} | AKOU}}; alternatively, AKOU{{{{{1}}}}} gives: AKOU{{ {{{1}}} }}
