This template is for photos of copyrighted buildings in countries or regions without freedom of panorama. The lack of FOP precludes the image from being uploaded to Commons, but the English Wikipedia will accept it under US law. If the country or region where the building is located has a usable FOP provision, please consider uploading to Commons instead.
Note that this template is not a valid copyright license by itself, and must be accompanied by a free license such as {{cc-by-sa-4.0}}.
This template automatically sets the following category/ies:
Usage edit
{{FoP-USonly|country or region|expiry}}
The first parameter takes the country or region where the building was located (and thus where the photo was taken). The second parameter takes the final year when the copyright for the building is valid (and thus out of copyright in the source country or region at the beginning of the following year).
Examples edit

{{FoP-USonly|France}}- Indicates France as the source country.
{{FoP-USonly|France|2030}}- Indicates France as the source country, and that the copyright for the building itself expires at the end of 2030.
