Zahra Nemati edit

5x expanded by Basement12 (talk). Self-nominated at 21:18, 2 May 2016 (UTC).

  • Long (expanded) enough, image is properly licensed, new enough, hook is verified (pretty awesome, by the way--I felt proud just reading it). I have only two questions--well, one isn't much of a question. Some sources say she had a car accident in 2004, not in 2003 during the Bam earthquake. I take it the reports conflict and preference is given to this one. Second, though, is a minor matter, that of her classification; the source didn't say W2, from what I could see. • @Drmies: I think the main source that mentions the car accident is this one from the IPC. It then comes up in other IPC articles for which the writers presumably checked their own database, but even that IPC source then mentions the earthquake (in ambitions>impairment), perfectly possible that the car accident occurred as a result of the earthquake but the majority of sources don't mention the car and I've now got numerous independent mentions for the earthquake. The wrong source was copied in for the classification, though the fact all her medals are in that category means it was technically cited elsewhere - Basement12 (T.C) 07:32, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
  • "Shaking off quake blues"--oh dear. Drmies (talk) 13:54, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
  • @Basement12: would you like this to be moved to the special occasion holding area we've created for the 2016 Summer Olympics? Yoninah (talk) 15:32, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: I'm inclined to let it run in the normal scheme of things rather than saving it. As my reasoning relates to the tthe staging area in general I'll explain at the talk page discussion started by Miyagawa - Basement12 (T.C) 16:12, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
